Who develops Orlet?

Orlet is developed by Mehdi Oudghiri, an independent iOS developer. For data-related questions: contact@moodapps.fr. App Store publication is being prepared.

Texts, drafts, library and profiles

You choose the texts you paste, import or share to Orlet. Comparison, literal checks and Unicode inspection run on your device. The draft, elements to preserve, library documents, their versions and personal profiles are stored locally. No Orlet account is required.

Texts, document titles, elements to preserve and reports are not sent to an analysis server, OpenAI, Anthropic or RevenueCat. Orlet does not sync drafts or the library through iCloud.

Sharing, imports and exports

Sharing from Notes or a compatible app prepares a copy in local storage shared by Orlet and its extension. You confirm its destination in Orlet before anything is replaced. Source files remain unchanged. Sharing accepts text, UTF-8 TXT and Markdown, RTF and PDFs containing text; it performs no OCR and does not download collaboration links. PDF and RTF formatting is not imported.

You choose files through the Files picker. JSON exports contain the texts and their elements to preserve in plain text. Copy places the revision in the system clipboard. If you choose iCloud Drive or another provider for an import or export, that provider’s rules apply to files you put there; this does not enable Orlet synchronization.

An unreadable local file may be preserved to avoid silently deleting your work.

Apple purchases

Pro subscriptions use native Apple in-app purchases. Apple handles confirmation, payment and restoration. Orlet verifies Apple transactions to determine your access: product, subscription status, expiry and any revocation. No text is sent for this verification, and the developer does not receive your payment card details through the app. Apple services are governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

RevenueCat: Apple Sandbox tests only

RevenueCat is reserved for the Apple Sandbox test environment. Orlet’s integration starts the SDK only after verifying the Apple Sandbox environment. It does not start RevenueCat for an installation verified in Apple’s Production environment; that installation’s purchases are handled natively by Apple. Pro access relies on verified Apple transactions and does not depend on a RevenueCat response.

During authorized Sandbox tests, RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous technical identifier and test purchase data: product and transaction identifiers, subscription history and status, environment, price and currency when available. The SDK also sends technical information needed for the service, including app, system and SDK versions; connections may reveal the IP address. These data support test reporting and analysis, without real revenue.

No text, document, title, profile or report is sent to RevenueCat. No name or email is added as a customer attribute. Automatic device identifier collection and SDK diagnostics are disabled. A Sandbox restoration may report verified test transactions for Orlet products again. Deleting a RevenueCat record from inside the app is not implemented; contact the developer about test data requests. See RevenueCat’s privacy information.

Measurement, advertising and the website

Orlet adds no advertising tracking or external measurement of texts or review actions. This site uses no analytics cookies, advertising pixels, remote fonts or analytics scripts.

This website is hosted by OVHcloud. It has no forms, advertising, analytics cookies, remote fonts or analytics scripts. The hosting provider may process technical information required for connections and security, including IP addresses, as described in its data protection information. Contact links open your email application; no message is sent automatically.

When you contact us

The contact button opens your email app; it sends nothing automatically. If you send a message, we receive the address and information you choose to include to answer and handle your request. That information is kept while handling your request and for the follow-up needed. Avoid sending private texts, passwords or keys.

Retention and control

Local data remains in the app while you keep it. “New draft” in Settings → Your documents clears both texts and their elements to preserve after confirmation, while preserving library documents and versions. Export your work before uninstalling. Files already exported or sent must be managed in their respective locations.

Clearing a draft or uninstalling does not erase purchase history held by Apple or, for tests, RevenueCat, and does not cancel an Apple subscription. To request access, correction or deletion of information sent to support or relating to tests, email contact@moodapps.fr. We will respond under applicable rules based on the information we actually hold.

Changes to the app

Any added service, synchronization or new collection will be described before activation.
