Privacy Policy — Hiry

Last updated: September 15, 2026.

The RevenueCat subscription-processing sections below apply to version 1.3.1 and later when this integration is enabled. Version 1.3 does not send subscription information through this integration.

Hiry ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how Hiry handles your information.

1. Data we process

Hiry keeps your job applications and reminders on your device and, when available, in your personal iCloud account. We do not store their content on developer-operated servers.

The app stores job title, company name, status, dates, recruiter contact details, location, salary, notes, tags and follow-up reminders. Settings include language, theme, weekly goal, notification preferences and automatic backup options.

The main app, share extension and widget use an App Group on your device to share the information they need. Widget information is stored locally.

When you share a job offer from Safari or another app, the share extension receives its URL and any title or metadata provided by the system. It uses this to pre-fill an application. Processing stays on your device except for retrieving the job page from its original website when needed. That website receives the normal network request and its own privacy practices apply.

2. Storage, iCloud and exports

When iCloud is available, Apple CloudKit synchronizes your Hiry data through your personal iCloud account. If it is unavailable, Hiry uses local storage and retries on a later launch. You control iCloud in your Apple Account settings. Apple's privacy policy applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

CSV/JSON exports and automatic backups are saved to your device or to a location you choose in Files. We do not upload those files to developer-operated servers. Sharing a file sends it only to the destination you choose.

You can delete applications in Hiry. Uninstalling removes local app data; previously synchronized iCloud content and exported files may remain separately. Turning off iCloud does not by itself delete previously stored cloud data.

3. Notifications

Reminders use local notifications scheduled on your device. Apple may use system push notifications for CloudKit synchronization. We do not operate a server for marketing notifications or track whether you read a reminder.

4. Subscriptions and in-app purchases

Hiry offers a free experience and optional automatically renewing Hiry Pro subscriptions. The price and billing period displayed by Apple apply. You can cancel renewal through your Apple subscription settings.

Apple processes subscription payments. We use RevenueCat to validate and analyse subscription transactions, including the purchased product, transaction identifiers, purchase and renewal dates, trial and subscription status, price, currency and storefront country when available. RevenueCat assigns a technical, pseudonymous app user ID. The SDK also processes app and device technical information; RevenueCat may derive the country from the connection IP address when a transaction country is unavailable. We do not send your name, email address or customer attributes to RevenueCat. Automatic collection of device identifiers and optional SDK diagnostics are disabled.

We use this information to understand subscriptions, renewals and purchase problems. Premium access continues to be determined by verified Apple transactions. We do not receive payment-card details. RevenueCat is not used to advertise to you or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

No job applications, CVs, imported job offers, recruiter contact details or notes are sent to RevenueCat.

5. Service providers and support

Apple provides CloudKit, StoreKit, WidgetKit and system notification services. RevenueCat processes subscription information as described above: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy. We do not sell data or share it with advertisers or data brokers. Hiry does not integrate an advertising SDK. Information may be disclosed when required by applicable law.

You can find a technical purchase-support reference in the app settings when subscription reporting is enabled. You choose whether to include it in a support message to contact@moodapps.fr. If you send it, we may associate that reference with your email to handle your request; it should not be treated as an anonymous record in that context. The reference alone is not proof of ownership. We do not add your email or the content of your support message as RevenueCat customer attributes.

RevenueCat processes subscription information on our behalf under its Data Processing Addendum (https://www.revenuecat.com/dpa), which forms part of its service agreement. Processing takes place in the United States, with the contractual transfer safeguards described in that addendum where applicable. Apple and your email provider handle their respective services separately.

You can ask us about access, correction, deletion or objection concerning subscription information. Removing a RevenueCat record does not cancel an Apple subscription. A later restore, purchase or synchronization can recreate subscription information; we will explain the applicable scope and follow-up when handling your request. Do not send an Apple password, payment-card details or personal content from the app.

Purposes, retention and privacy requests

Mehdi Oudghiri is responsible for the processing described in this policy. Where the GDPR applies, providing the app and handling purchase-support requests relies on performance of the service you request. Subscription performance analysis and investigation of purchase problems rely on our legitimate interests in operating and improving a sustainable app business. This analysis is limited to subscription records; it does not analyse your personal content or determine your paid access. We do not use this information for advertising or decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

We retain identifiable subscription information while needed for subscription support, renewal analysis or resolving a purchase dispute. We review inactive records and remove or anonymise information that is no longer needed for these purposes, subject to applicable legal obligations. Support correspondence is retained while needed to handle and document the request. Apple retains its own purchase records under its own policies.

You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests, by emailing contact@moodapps.fr. We assess requests individually and normally respond within one month; if an extension is permitted and necessary, we explain why. You can also complain to your data-protection authority, including the CNIL in France (https://www.cnil.fr).

Deleting existing RevenueCat information and stopping future processing are separate requests. RevenueCat documents that deleting a customer removes the existing record, but continued app use, a purchase or a restoration can recreate subscription information. We explain this distinction when handling a request and do not represent deletion as cancellation of your Apple subscription or an automatic permanent block on future processing.

6. Deletion and Apple subscriptions

Subscription records in RevenueCat are separate from your device and iCloud content. Uninstalling Hiry does not itself erase records from Apple or RevenueCat. You can contact us to locate and request deletion of your subscription information. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, CVs, recruiter details or notes.

Deleting a RevenueCat record does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage renewal in your Apple subscription settings. Apple applies its own retention policies to purchase records.

7. Children

Hiry is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can help address it.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy and revise the date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or its public listing where appropriate.
